Abnormal Brain Hole is not one game but a hub of four, played in a portrait browser window. The title screen is a wooden noticeboard with an energy counter at the top, listing four mini-games that each have their own Play Now button and their own level list: Archery Master, De-stress Poker, Gold Miner and Save the Animals. Despite the name, none of them is a trick-question riddle game. The deepest of the four is De-stress Poker, a card-merge puzzle: five columns on a dark green felt table, each holding a stack of face-up playing cards built downward, under a banner reading "Synthesize Cards:9". Cards of the same rank and suit stack on one another, and a column that reaches nine of a kind can be cashed in with the Synthesize button. Above the columns sit five slot panels -- three padlocked and captioned Synthesis5 Unlock, Synthesis6 Unlock and Synthesis8 Unlock, and two marked Temporary slot behind a rewarded-video badge. Deal cards brings in a fresh row, Shuffle reorders the board, and the game's own tutorial introduces the joker as a trump card that "can replace any card to synthesize". One quirk worth knowing: the game renders nothing at all until it receives a click, so a blank black frame on load is normal rather than a broken build.

How to play Abnormal Brain Hole

1. Click once anywhere on the game area after it loads. It stays black until that first click, then the hub screen appears.
2. Pick one of the four mini-games from the hub -- Archery Master, De-stress Poker, Gold Miner or Save the Animals. Each opens its own level list.
3. In De-stress Poker the board is five columns of face-up playing cards, and the banner across the top reads "Synthesize Cards:9" -- that is how many matching cards a column needs.
4. Stack like onto like, then press "Deal cards" when you want a fresh row brought in.
5. When a column holds nine of the same card it lights up; press "Synthesize" to cash it in.
6. Use the joker as a wildcard. The in-game tutorial states the trump card "can replace any card to synthesize", so it fills the gap in an otherwise complete set.
7. Park an unplaceable card in one of the two "Temporary slot" panels above the columns. Those are opened by a rewarded video; the other three slots unlock at five, six and eight synthesises.

Controls

• Desktop: Mouse -- click once on the game area to wake it, then click a column to lift its top card and a second column to place it. Deal cards, Synthesize and Shuffle are buttons along the bottom.
• Mobile / tablet: Touch -- tap once to wake the game, then tap a column to lift from it and tap another to drop. Nothing beyond tapping is needed.

Abnormal Brain Hole tips & strategy

• Keep one column shallow. Every dealt card has to land somewhere, and five deep mismatched stacks is a board with no legal move left in it.
• Save the joker for a set that is nearly complete. It is worth far more finishing a stack of eight than padding one of three.
• Treat the two temporary slots as an escape hatch, not workspace -- they sit behind a rewarded video, so they are not a resource you can lean on every deal.
• Expect the opening board to be the tightest one. Three of the columns stay padlocked until you have synthesised five, six and eight times.
• If the title drew you in expecting a brain-teaser, start with Gold Miner or Save the Animals from the hub -- the card game is the longest of the four but it is not a riddle game.
