Battle Simulator - Sandbox is a physics-based mass-battle simulator where you recruit troops (like swordsmen and cannon units), drop them onto a battlefield, and watch the two sides fight it out automatically. It has two modes: a level mode with preset scenarios and gold/unit limits to beat, and a sandbox mode where you can freely place units for both sides with far fewer restrictions to experiment or just watch chaos unfold.
How to play Battle Simulator - Sandbox
- Pick Level mode (structured scenarios with a troop/gold budget) or Sandbox mode (free placement for both armies).
- Select unit types from your roster (e.g., swordsmen, cannons) and drag them onto your side of the battlefield.
- In Sandbox mode, place enemy units too if you want a fully custom matchup.
- Press Start Battle to let the armies fight automatically — you don't control units directly mid-fight.
- Watch the outcome, then adjust your troop mix and formation and try again to improve your strategy.
- In Level mode, clear scenarios to unlock the next one; use Sandbox mode anytime to test ideas without limits.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse only: click and drag units from the roster onto the battlefield, then click Start Battle.
- Mobile / tablet: Touch controls: tap and hold a unit to select it, drag to place it on the battlefield, then tap Start Battle.
Battle Simulator - Sandbox tips & strategy
- Mix unit types instead of stacking one kind — melee units alone get outranged by cannons or archers.
- Place slower/heavier units in front and ranged or fragile units behind them so they aren't hit first.
- Use Sandbox mode to test a matchup risk-free before committing gold to it in Level mode.
- Watch where the enemy concentrates units and counter-stack your own troops against their weak flank.
- If a level is too hard, replay it with a different unit ratio rather than repeating the same losing composition.
What makes Battle Simulator - Sandbox fun
The appeal is the hands-off, physics-driven chaos of watching your army composition play out in real time, combined with a genuinely open sandbox where you control both sides with minimal limits — good for experimenting or just staging fun battles.
