About Traffic Escape!

Traffic Escape! is a top-down logic puzzle from casual-game studio FOMO Games, released in 2023 and widely played in browsers on Poki as well as on iOS and Android. Each stage drops you at a gridlocked intersection packed with cars, trucks and buses, and every vehicle wears an arrow showing the one direction it can drive. Your job is to tap the vehicles in the right order so they peel away into the nearest open lane without smashing into one another or flattening the pedestrians crossing the road. The first ten stages ease you in, but from Level 11 a move limit is added and Helicopter and Hint boosters unlock to help. Across 45 handcrafted levels, plus tougher boss stages and a Level Race mode against four rivals, it rewards patient planning over quick reflexes, making it a compact, satisfying brain teaser.

How to play Traffic Escape!

1. Look at the arrow on each car, truck or bus: it shows the one direction that vehicle is allowed to leave.
2. Tap or click a vehicle to send it off; it drives to the nearest open lane in its arrow's direction.
3. Choose the release order carefully so no two vehicles cross paths and crash.
4. Watch the crosswalks: wait until pedestrians finish crossing before sending a car through their lane, or the level fails.
5. From Level 11 onward, finish within the move limit shown, and spend Helicopter or Hint boosters when you get stuck.
6. Clear every vehicle from the intersection to complete the stage and earn coins.

Controls

• Desktop: Left-click a vehicle to send it off in the direction of its arrow; clear the whole intersection by clicking cars in the right order.
• Mobile / tablet: Tap a vehicle to move it out along its arrow, sequencing your taps to clear every car without collisions.

Traffic Escape! tips & strategy

• Trace each arrow to its exit before you tap anything; the puzzle is about order, not speed.
• Release vehicles whose path is already clear first, they rarely block anyone and open up space for the rest.
• Save the Helicopter for a single car that is dead-locking the whole board, and use Hints more freely to spot a safe next move.
• Always let pedestrians finish crossing before sending a car into their lane, since one hit ends the level instantly.
• On move-limited stages from Level 11, avoid exploratory taps; plan the full sequence in your head because every move counts.
• If you run out of boosters and moves, watch an ad to skip a stubborn stage rather than losing progress.
