Overview

Traffic Escape! is built from 45 sequential, handcrafted intersection puzzles, so a walkthrough is really about method rather than memorising one fixed answer per board. Every level gives you the same core job: read the arrow on each vehicle, then clear them in an order that never lets two paths cross or a car hit a pedestrian. This guide breaks the game into its natural difficulty bands, explains when the move limit and boosters arrive, and shows how to approach the tougher boss stages and the timed Level Race without wasting your Helicopters.

How Traffic Escape! levels work

Sequential handcrafted intersection-puzzle stages (no move limit for Levels 1-10, move limits from Level 11), plus harder boss levels and a competitive Level Race mode. (45).

Stage-by-stage strategy

Levels 1-10: learn the arrows

In the opening stages there is no move limit and little to punish mistakes, so use them to internalise the one rule that matters: a vehicle can only ever leave in the direction its arrow points, taking the nearest free lane. Tap the cars whose exit is already open first, then watch how clearing one vehicle frees the lane behind it for the next. Treat these boards as a sandbox for reading the whole intersection before you touch anything, a habit that pays off on every later level.

Levels 11+: move limits and boosters

From Level 11 each stage shows a move budget, and going over it fails the level, so plan the full release order in your head before your first tap. This is also where boosters unlock: the Helicopter lifts any one car straight off the board, and the Hint (from Level 12) highlights a vehicle that is safe to move right now. You start with three of each, so spend Hints freely when you are unsure and hold Helicopters for a single car that is genuinely dead-locking everything else.

Pedestrians and collisions

Later intersections add pedestrians walking across the roads, and hitting one ends the level instantly, exactly like letting two cars collide. Before you send a vehicle down a lane, check that no walker is on that crossing and that no other car's path intersects it. When a pedestrian is mid-crossing, simply wait a beat: release a car elsewhere or pause until the lane is clear, then continue your sequence. Patience here is worth more than speed.

Boss levels and Level Race

Boss stages are denser, tighter puzzles that pay out larger reward bundles, so it is worth entering them with a full stock of boosters. Level Race pits you against four other players to finish the same set of levels fastest; here fluency beats caution, so lean on the reading habits you built early, spotting the obvious first moves instantly and only slowing down on genuinely ambiguous boards. Coins earned from clearing cars can be banked for extra boosters or skins before you attempt these.

Tips to beat Traffic Escape! faster

  • Trace each arrow to its exit before you tap anything; the puzzle is about order, not speed.
  • Release vehicles whose path is already clear first, they rarely block anyone and open up space for the rest.
  • Save the Helicopter for a single car that is dead-locking the whole board, and use Hints more freely to spot a safe next move.
  • Always let pedestrians finish crossing before sending a car into their lane, since one hit ends the level instantly.
  • On move-limited stages from Level 11, avoid exploratory taps; plan the full sequence in your head because every move counts.
  • If you run out of boosters and moves, watch an ad to skip a stubborn stage rather than losing progress.

Traffic Escape! walkthrough FAQ

Does Traffic Escape! have a fixed solution for every level?

Each board has a valid clearing order, but the game does not lock you to a single scripted path, and reliable per-level solution lists are not widely published. The dependable approach is the method in this guide, reading the arrows and releasing non-colliding cars first, rather than memorising specific answers.

When do move limits and boosters start?

The first ten stages are unlimited. From Level 11 a move limit applies and the Helicopter booster unlocks, with the Hint booster arriving at Level 12. You begin with three boosters and can earn or buy more with coins.

What should I do when I'm completely stuck?

Use a Hint to reveal a safe move, or a Helicopter to remove the one car jamming the board. If you are out of both and out of moves, you can watch an ad to skip the stage rather than losing your progress.
