Mazean is a browser-based multiplayer first-person shooter where you pilot a laser-armed robot against other players in real-time arena battles. You pick from a small arsenal of sci-fi weapons, use the map's cover and verticality to hunt or hide, and rack up eliminations against other players. It plays in the .io mold: quick to join, no accounts or downloads, respawn-and-rejoin combat loops.
How to play Mazean.com
- Load into a match and choose your weapon on spawn: Photon (pistol, steady fire), Prism (close-range shotgun), or Beam (long-range sniper).
- Move around the arena with WASD, using walls and maze-like cover to break line of sight from enemies.
- Aim and fire with the mouse; right-click to activate sniper/aim-down-sights mode when using the Beam.
- Jump with Space when repositioning or dodging fire.
- Eliminate other robots to score points, then respawn and keep fighting after each death.
Controls
- Desktop: WASD to move, mouse to aim, left-click to shoot, Space to jump, Right Click to activate sniper/aim-down-sights mode (Beam only).
- Mobile / tablet: Touch controls: tap/drag to move and swipe to aim and fire, auto-adjusted for touch. The game is built around mouse-and-keyboard precision, so aiming is noticeably harder on a phone.
Mazean.com tips & strategy
- Start with the Photon pistol if you're new — it's the most forgiving at mid-range while you learn the maps.
- Switch to the Prism shotgun for close-quarter maze corridors where enemies round corners at short range.
- Save the Beam sniper for open sightlines; its power is wasted in tight, cover-heavy areas.
- Use maze walls to break enemy aim rather than crossing open lanes in the open.
- If caught in the open or low on health, break line of sight behind cover rather than trying to out-shoot an enemy at a disadvantage.
What makes Mazean.com fun
Fast respawn-and-rejoin combat and three distinct weapons with real range/rate-of-fire tradeoffs (a rapid pistol, a close-range shotgun, and a long-range sniper) layered onto simple .io-style movement make it easy to pick up but give room for weapon and positioning strategy.
