Johnny Trigger: Action Shooter is a fast, stylish one-tap shooting game in which you play a sharp-dressed assassin cutting through waves of mafia goons. Johnny runs, jumps, spins and slides through each level entirely on his own, so your only job is timing the trigger. When a target slides into view the action drops into slow motion, giving you a split second to click and fire. Bullets obey physics, so you can ricochet shots off walls and floors, chain hits through lined-up enemies, and detonate gas canisters or TNT to clear a room in one blast. The catch: innocent hostages are mixed in with the gunmen, and a single stray shot fails the run. Clearing stages earns coins to unlock a large arsenal of guns and outfits, and a tougher boss shows up every few levels. Built by SayGames, it plays free in the browser on desktop and mobile.
How to play Johnny Trigger: Action Shooter
- Watch Johnny auto-run, jump and slide through the level - you do not control his movement, only his gun.
- When an enemy appears the action slows down; click or tap to fire at that moment, waiting until the target is fully exposed.
- Line several gangsters up so a single bullet, or a ricochet off a wall or floor, takes out multiple targets at once.
- Shoot explosive barrels, gas canisters or TNT crates to wipe out groups - but never when a hostage is inside the blast radius.
- Never shoot the hostages: unarmed civilians look like the gunmen, and one hit on an innocent fails the level and restarts you from the last checkpoint.
- Spend the coins you collect on new guns and outfits, and drain the boss's health bar in the boss stages that appear roughly every five levels.
Controls
- Desktop: Click the mouse to shoot (some versions let you click and drag to aim). Johnny's running, jumping and sliding are all automatic.
- Mobile / tablet: Tap the screen to fire, and drag your finger to aim in versions that support it. Movement is handled for you.
Johnny Trigger: Action Shooter tips & strategy
- Wait for the slow-motion cue before firing - shooting early wastes the shot and the enemy speeds back up.
- Enemies and hostages look alike, so hold your fire until you can confirm a target is actually armed.
- Reach for a single-shot pistol when a hostage stands near a target, since spray weapons can clip the innocent.
- Bank shots off floors and walls; a well-aimed ricochet can reach gunmen you cannot hit directly.
- Only trigger a barrel or gas canister when no hostage is inside the blast, then use it to chain-kill a whole group.
- On boss stages keep firing steadily to drain the health bar, and save higher-damage SMGs and superguns for those fights.

Johnny Trigger: Action Shooter FAQ
Who made Johnny Trigger?
It was originally developed by the studio Estoty and published by SayGames; the free browser version on portals like Poki is credited to SayGames.
Is Johnny Trigger free to play in the browser?
Yes. The action-shooter runs free in your browser on desktop, phone and tablet with no download. There are also ad-supported mobile versions and paid editions on Steam and Nintendo Switch.
How do I avoid failing a level?
Do not shoot hostages, and do not set off an explosive with an innocent nearby - a single stray hit on a civilian restarts the stage from the last checkpoint.
What are the ricochet shots?
Bullets bounce off surfaces, so you can bank a shot off a wall or floor to hit enemies behind cover or line up several kills with one trigger pull.
Are there boss fights?
Yes. A boss appears roughly every five levels and takes several hits to bring down; keep firing to drain its health bar, and try not to miss.
Is this the same game as Johnny Trigger Sniper?
No. This is the auto-running platform shooter. 'Johnny Trigger - Sniper Game' is a separate spin-off that uses static sniper-scope aiming instead of the running-and-shooting format.
