About Flip The Gun

Flip the Gun is a physics-based skill game built around one satisfying idea: a gun floats in mid-air, and every time it fires, the recoil kicks it in the opposite direction. Instead of aiming at enemies, you aim your shots to fly. Fire the barrel downward to launch upward, feather your taps to hover, and steer by angling the muzzle before each shot. The goal is to keep the weapon airborne as long as possible, scooping up gold coins and green ammo cans while avoiding a fall off the bottom of the screen. Coins unlock heavier hardware, so the starter pistol gives way to an assault rifle, shotgun, laser gun and finally a bazooka, each with its own recoil strength, fire rate and magazine size. It is easy to pick up, hard to master, and endlessly replayable with no time pressure.

How to play Flip The Gun

1. Click or tap to fire the gun; the recoil pushes it in the direction opposite the barrel.
2. Point the muzzle downward and shoot to launch the gun upward and gain height.
3. Fire in short, well-timed bursts to hover and keep the gun from dropping off the bottom of the screen.
4. Angle your shots to steer left or right and line up coins and green ammo cans.
5. Collect gold coins during a run, then spend them in the weapon menu to unlock stronger guns.
6. Mind your magazine: reloading leaves a brief gap where the gun cannot fire, so plan for that pause.

Controls

• Desktop: Left-click the mouse (or press Space) to fire. Each shot's recoil pushes the gun opposite the barrel, so time and angle your shots to fly, hover and steer.
• Mobile / tablet: Tap the screen to shoot. Every tap's recoil launches the gun, so tap in rhythm to stay airborne and guide it toward coins and ammo.

Flip The Gun tips & strategy

• Aim the barrel slightly off-vertical so each shot both lifts you and nudges you toward the coins, instead of firing straight up.
• Don't just hold the trigger; short, spaced shots give far finer control than emptying the whole magazine at once.
• Stay near the center of the screen, where the most coins, ammo cans and speed-boost points tend to appear.
• Heavy guns like the bazooka and shotgun give huge recoil but fire slowly, so expect longer dead moments between shots and time them carefully.
• Grab green ammo cans before your magazine runs dry, otherwise you will fall with an empty gun that cannot recoil.
• Save up for a mid-tier weapon first; even the cheapest upgrade handles noticeably better than the starter pistol.
