Mr Bullet is a 2D physics shooting puzzle in which you play a deadpan secret agent who clears a room full of enemies with a single, carefully aimed shot. You click and hold to draw an aiming line, then release to fire a bullet that ricochets off walls, floors and ceilings. The challenge is planning bank shots that pass through or knock down every target before the bullet runs out of bounces — ideally using as few shots as possible. Levels layer in hazards and tools: explosive barrels, swinging blades, movable blocks, moving guards and hostages you must not hit. A slow-motion camera follows each shot and ragdolls the enemies on impact, giving the game its darkly comic tone. Originally a hit mobile title by the studio 1Button and published by Lion Studios, it later appeared as a free browser game.
How to play Mr Bullet
- Click and hold (or touch and drag) to aim; a guide line shows the bullet's likely path.
- Release to fire a single bullet.
- The bullet ricochets off walls, floors and ceilings — plan bank shots to reach shielded or hidden targets.
- Eliminate every enemy in the level, using as few bullets as possible.
- Use explosive barrels and knock-over blocks to chain-kill grouped enemies, and avoid hitting hostages or civilians.
- Clear the room within the gold-bullet count to earn all three stars.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse: click and hold to aim, release to shoot.
- Mobile / tablet: Touch and drag to aim, release to fire.
Mr Bullet tips & strategy
- Trace the ricochet before releasing — the aim line shows the first bounce, and the bullet keeps bouncing until it hits something or leaves the screen, so mentally continue the path.
- Line up multiple enemies so one shot passes through them or drives a block into several at once; this is the main way to save bullets and keep your stars.
- Explosive barrels clear tight clusters — aim to detonate a barrel beside a group rather than picking targets off one at a time.
- Use bank shots off walls to reach enemies hiding behind cover; a bounce often reaches what a straight line cannot.
- Watch for hostages and neutral figures — hitting one fails the level, so avoid careless ricochets near them.
- Only spend gold bullets: every extra shot costs a star, so if a shot looks wrong, restart and re-aim instead of firing to 'see what happens'.
What makes Mr Bullet fun
Mr Bullet's appeal is one-shot problem solving: each level is a small, hand-made puzzle with a single satisfying solution. Ricochet physics let bullets bounce off surfaces to reach hidden or shielded targets, while a slow-motion camera plus ragdoll enemies give every kill a comic, cinematic punch. A three-star system rewards efficiency — clear the room with the fewest gold bullets. The mobile version stacks 320 levels across 20 chapters with alternate challenge modes (such as a grenade mode), unlockable weapon skins and character customization, while the free browser port lets you play instantly with a mouse on desktop or touch on mobile.
Mr Bullet gameplay video
In this clip: The clip opens on the Level 1 start screen, where a red-haired character holding a gun stands just below a 'TAP TO START' banner, with a HERO button at the bottom. In the later frames he stands on a staircase platform, with one frame showing a figure in a striped helmet tilted sideways beside a motorcycle, while the number at the top reads 12 and then 28 and the Level 1 bar goes from partly to fully green. The last frame shows a pink skull icon with the word 'Perfect'.
Mr Bullet FAQ
Who developed Mr Bullet?
Mr Bullet was created by the studio 1Button and published by Lion Studios (part of AppLovin). Some storefronts and portals credit 'Lion Studios' as the creator, but that is the publisher — 1Button is the developing studio.
Is Mr Bullet free to play?
Yes. It plays free in the browser and is a free-to-play download (supported by ads and optional purchases) on iOS and Android.
How many levels does Mr Bullet have?
The mobile 'Spy Puzzles' version has 320 levels across 20 chapters, with 960 stars to collect. Browser ports can offer a different or reduced set of levels.
How do you get three stars on a level?
Clear every enemy using only the gold bullets shown at the top of the screen. Each extra bullet you fire removes one star.
Is Mr Bullet the same as Mr Bullet 3D?
No. Mr Bullet 3D is a separate 3D follow-up by the same studio (1Button); the classic 'Mr Bullet - Spy Puzzles' is the original 2D game most people mean by 'Mr Bullet'.
Is the version on this and other portal sites official?
Mr Bullet is an original title with official homes on Poki, the App Store and Google Play. Some third-party game sites host embedded or re-uploaded copies that may be unofficial reposts, so features and level counts can differ from the original release.
