About Battleops

Battleops is a 3D first-person shooter set in a zombie apocalypse. You play a former military operative who wakes up in a world overrun by the infected and works through a campaign of missions to piece together what happened. The core loop is straightforward: move through a level, shoot waves of zombies and human enemies, pick up better weapons, and beat a boss to close out each mission.

How to play Battleops

1. Start a campaign mission from the level/chapter menu.
2. Move your character around the level while keeping an eye out for enemies and cover.
3. Aim with the crosshair and fire at zombies and enemy soldiers as they appear.
4. Pick up ammo, health, and new weapons dropped in the level or unlocked through progress.
5. Survive enemy waves and defeat the mission's boss to clear the level and unlock the next one.
6. Adjust the difficulty setting if a mission or boss fight is too hard or too easy.

Controls

• Desktop: WASD (or arrow keys) to move, mouse to aim, left mouse button to shoot, and on-screen buttons/keys for reload, weapon switch, and abilities (exact key bindings are shown in-game).
• Mobile / tablet: Touch controls: a virtual joystick on the left to move, drag on the right side of the screen to aim/look, and a fire button to shoot.

Battleops tips & strategy

• Keep moving instead of standing still — zombies close distance fast and can surround you.
• Pick up any new weapon you find; later enemies and bosses hit much harder than the starting gun.
• Lower the difficulty first if you're new to the game, then raise it once you know the enemy patterns.
• Watch your ammo count and reload during lulls in combat, not mid-firefight.
• Learn each boss's attack pattern — most fights are about dodging a tell before you get a clean shot in.

Battleops combines a mission-based zombie campaign with varied enemy types and boss fights, giving it more structure than a typical endless zombie shooter, while unlockable weapons and adjustable difficulty keep runs feeling different as you progress.
