About Super Chains

Super Chains is an HTML5 number-matching puzzle game playable free in-browser on desktop and mobile. Players clear a grid of numbered blocks by linking adjacent tiles whose values are one higher, one lower, or equal to the tile they are chaining from. Building longer chains blasts more blocks at once and unlocks bonus helpers that can assist on tougher boards.

How to play Super Chains

1. Look at the grid of numbered blocks and pick a starting tile.
2. Drag or tap through adjacent blocks whose number is exactly one higher, one lower, or the same as the previous block in the chain.
3. Keep the chain going as long as possible before releasing, since longer chains clear more blocks and score more points.
4. Release to blast the connected chain and clear those blocks from the board.
5. Use unlocked helpers strategically on boards that get stuck or overly cluttered.
6. Keep chaining to reveal and collect bonus items hidden behind cleared blocks.

Controls

• Desktop: Mouse: click and drag across adjoining blocks to build a chain, then release to clear it.
• Mobile / tablet: Touch: tap and drag a finger across adjoining blocks to build a chain, then lift to clear it.

Super Chains tips & strategy

• Scan the board for the longest possible run of ascending, descending, or equal numbers before dragging, since a bigger chain clears more tiles per move.
• Do not rush the first tile touched; starting from a number with several valid neighbors gives more directions to extend the chain.
• Save helpers for boards where no long chains are available, rather than using them on turns that could be cleared manually.
• Equal-value blocks are easy chain extenders, useful to bridge between an ascending run and a descending one.
• Play a little each session rather than rushing; the puzzle rewards spotting patterns over speed.
