Home Pin 2 (full store title: Home Pin 2: Family Adventure) is a browser-playable pull-the-pin puzzle game developed by Gamee, the Hanoi-based studio behind the original Home Pin. Players join a family that has just moved into a cold, neglected old mansion and must pull pins in the right order to drop matches, charcoal, coins, and other supplies safely down to a mother and her young daughter, helping them survive the winter. Each level packs pins, ropes, and planks into a tight wooden frame, often booby-trapped with bombs that end the attempt if the wrong pin is pulled first. Coins earned from clearing levels can be spent renovating and decorating rooms of the mansion, gradually revealing the house's hidden backstory. It runs free, directly in the browser, on desktop and mobile, with no download required.
How to play Home Pin 2
- Study the puzzle before touching anything: trace which pin is holding up which piece of the structure.
- Click or tap and drag pins out one at a time, in the order you choose — the wrong first pull can end the level.
- Watch for bombs and other hazards built into the structure; a mistimed pin pull can trigger them.
- Guide the target item (food, matches, coins, etc.) down through the frame until it safely reaches the mother or daughter.
- Clear the level to earn stars and coins, then spend coins renovating and decorating rooms in the mansion.
Controls
- Desktop: Left mouse button: click and drag pins out of the puzzle structure, one at a time, in the order you choose. No keyboard is used.
- Mobile / tablet: Touchscreen: tap and drag pins with your finger; the mobile browser version plays identically to the mouse version.
Home Pin 2 tips & strategy
- Scan the whole frame before pulling anything — pin order matters far more than speed.
- Pull pins that are furthest from bombs or hazards first, and save pins right next to the target item for last.
- If a level looks unsolvable, look for a hidden pin tucked off to the side or behind an object — later levels often hide extra pins.
- You don't need three stars to progress the story — clearing the level once is enough, and you can replay for stars later.
- Save up coins across a few levels before renovating a room, since bigger upgrades reveal more of the mansion's story.
