Dog Blocks is a free browser block puzzle in which you fill spaces using dog-themed pieces. It is a spatial game rather than a reflex one: each level gives you a set of shapes and a space to fill, and the challenge is working out the placement order that leaves nothing stranded, which gets progressively harder as the levels grow more intricate. Nothing here is timed, so it suits being played slowly, and the levels are short enough to fit into a few spare minutes. The dog theme is purely decorative — there is no dog to look after and none to control — which is why our dog games hub tags it as a puzzle. If you like block-fitting games and want one with a friendlier skin than the usual abstract shapes, this does the job. It is a portrait game, free in the browser, with no download, no account and no app store needed.
How to play Dog Blocks
- Look at the space and the pieces you have been given.
- Work out which placement order fills the space without stranding a piece.
- Drag each piece into position.
- Complete the level and move on to a more intricate one.
- Rethink rather than retry randomly when a level resists you.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse — click and drag pieces into the space.
- Mobile / tablet: Tap and drag. Portrait layout, so it plays one-handed on a phone.
Dog Blocks tips & strategy
- Place the awkward pieces first. Regular shapes fit almost anywhere; irregular ones do not.
- Work from the corners and edges inwards; the middle is the most forgiving part of any space.
- Nothing is timed, so look at the whole level before placing a single piece.
- Portrait layout makes it one of the better dog games here for a phone held upright.
- No dog care or control in it; the dog theme is decoration on a spatial puzzle.
- Protect My Dog is the other puzzle on this hub, and the more inventive of the two.

Dog Blocks FAQ
What kind of game is Dog Blocks?
A spatial block puzzle: you fill a given space with dog-themed pieces, working out the placement order that leaves nothing stranded. The dog theme is decoration.
Is it timed?
No. It is built for thinking rather than reacting, so you can take as long as you like on each level.
Is it free?
Yes, free in the browser with no download, account or app store.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, well — it is a portrait game, so it plays one-handed on a phone held upright.
Any advice for the harder levels?
Place the awkward, irregular pieces first and work from the corners inwards. Regular shapes fit almost anywhere, so saving them for last gives you flexibility.

No. For that, see Funny Puppy Care or the vet games on our pet care hub.
