Cooking Madness is a free browser time-management game in which you cook your way around the world rather than staying in one kitchen. Each stage hands you a new cuisine, a new set of stations and a queue of diners who arrive with an order and a patience meter already running, and your job is to slice, cook and plate fast enough to serve everyone before those meters empty. The reason it travels is that each cuisine changes the shape of the work: one region may ask you to assemble several components in parallel, another may make you wait on a single slow station while orders pile up behind it. Coins earned from satisfied diners go into kitchen upgrades, and those upgrades are not cosmetic — later stages are tuned on the assumption that you have bought them, so a level that feels impossible is usually a level you are attempting with starting equipment. It runs in a landscape browser window with no download, no account and no install.
How to play Cooking Madness
- Read the order above each waiting customer before you touch anything — the patience meter starts the moment they arrive.
- Tap ingredients to send them to the right station, then tap the station again when the item is ready.
- Plate finished components in the order the ticket asks for, then tap the customer to serve.
- Collect the coins each satisfied diner leaves before they fade.
- Spend coins between stages on kitchen upgrades — faster stations and extra capacity are what carry you through later cuisines.
- Finish a stage's target to unlock the next cuisine and its new station layout.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse only. Click an ingredient to start it cooking, click the station to collect it, click the plate to assemble and click the waiting customer to serve. Click dropped coins to collect them.
- Mobile / tablet: Tap to do everything — ingredients, stations, plates, customers and coins are all single taps. The game is built landscape, so turn the phone sideways before you start.
Cooking Madness tips & strategy
- Start anything slow before you need it. If a station takes time, the order you have not received yet is still the order you should be prepping for.
- Serve the customer closest to running out of patience first, even if another order is finished — a wasted finished dish costs less than a walkout.
- Never finish a stage with unspent coins. Upgrades compound, and the next cuisine assumes you bought them.
- When two orders need the same station, decide immediately which one you are sacrificing instead of discovering it when both fail.
- Collect coins during a lull, not during a rush — they stay on screen for a moment, and grabbing them mid-order costs you time you need.
- If a cuisine keeps beating you, replay an earlier stage you can clear comfortably, bank the coins, upgrade, and come back.

Cooking Madness FAQ
How do you play Cooking Madness?
Read each customer's order, tap ingredients to send them to the right station, collect them when they finish, assemble the dish and tap the customer to serve before their patience meter empties. Spend the coins you earn on kitchen upgrades between stages.
Is Cooking Madness free?
Yes. It runs in your browser tab with no download, no account and no app store — click it and it loads.
Why do later levels feel impossible?
Because they are tuned for an upgraded kitchen. If you have been spending nothing, your stations are slower than the level expects. Replay an easier stage, bank coins, buy upgrades and return.
Can I play Cooking Madness on a phone?
Yes, but it is a landscape game — turn your phone sideways first. Every input is a single tap, so it works fine on touch once the screen is the right way round.
How many cuisines are there?
The game is built around travelling between several world cuisines, with each one introducing a different station layout. New regions unlock as you clear the stages in the one you are on.
Does my progress save?
The game keeps progress in your browser's own storage, so it survives closing the tab but not clearing your browser data. There is no account to sign into.
