Cooking Fast 4: Steak is the fourth game in the Cooking Fast series and the most structured cooking game on this site: thirty-five levels, each a self-contained shift with its own order mix and its own clock. You chop, grill and multitask your way through a queue of hungry customers, and the grill is what makes it different from the burger and pizza games — steak takes real time to cook, which means the game is less about speed of input and more about planning what to put on before you are asked for it. Clearing a level pays coins, and coins buy kitchen upgrades that you carry into the next level. That matters more here than in most cooking games because the thirty-five levels form a difficulty curve designed around an upgrading kitchen: play them all with stock equipment and the back half becomes a wall. Play them while reinvesting and the curve stays fair. It is free, runs in a landscape browser window, and needs no download or account.
How to play Cooking Fast 4: Steak
- Check the order board — in a grill game the order you can see is the order you should already be cooking.
- Tap ingredients to prep them: chopping happens immediately, grilling takes time.
- Pull items off the grill as soon as they are ready; leaving them on is how dishes are lost.
- Assemble the plate in the order the ticket shows, then serve the customer.
- Collect the coins each level pays out and spend them on kitchen upgrades before starting the next.
- Clear all thirty-five levels, replaying earlier ones for coins whenever you stall.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse only. Click to prep, click the grill to place or collect, click the plate to assemble and click the customer to serve.
- Mobile / tablet: All single taps. The game is landscape, so rotate the phone before starting.
Cooking Fast 4: Steak tips & strategy
- Put steak on the grill before the order arrives. The queue is predictable enough that pre-cooking is almost always right.
- A steak left on the grill too long is worse than a steak started late — set your rhythm by the grill, not by the customer.
- Spend every coin between levels. Thirty-five levels is a long curve and it assumes you are upgrading.
- When you stall, go back three or four levels and farm them. They are fast once upgraded, and the coins are what unblock you.
- Handle the chopping during the grill's dead time — that is the whole trick of the game.
- If two orders need the grill at once, start the one whose customer is closer to leaving and accept the other may fail.
