About Connect Puzzle

Connect Puzzle is a browser puzzle built around pairing up pictures. The build fills a tall portrait window with a light doodle-emoji background and places two columns of cut-out pictures on it — three on the left and three on the right, with no tile frames or grid around them. In the opening level the left column holds bamboo, an ocean wave and a dark hole, and the right column holds a panda, a rabbit and a whale, so each picture on one side has one partner on the other. The pictures carry no numbers and no colour codes. A bar across the top shows level markers — 1, 2, 3 and 4 followed by a gift icon — with marker 1 filled in, and a settings gear sits in the top-right corner. No timer, score, lives or move counter appears while the level is on screen. A yellow pointing hand shows up at different spots between and over the pictures, drawing attention to one on each side.

How to play Connect Puzzle

1. Read the board: two columns of pictures face each other, three on each side in the first level — bamboo, a wave and a dark hole on the left, a panda, a rabbit and a whale on the right.
2. Work out which picture on one side belongs with which picture on the other. The pictures carry no numbers and no colour codes, so the pairing goes by what the images have to do with each other.
3. Pair each picture with its partner in the opposite column. We have not confirmed whether that means tapping the two in turn or dragging between them.
4. Follow the bar across the top to track progress: markers 1, 2, 3 and 4 with a gift icon after them, and the marker you are on filled in.

Controls

• Desktop: Mouse. Point at the pictures in the two columns to pair each one with its partner in the opposite column; we have not confirmed the exact action needed. The level markers along the top and the settings gear in the top-right corner are clicked. Nothing on screen asks for typed input, and no keyboard controls are shown.
• Mobile / tablet: Touch. Use a finger on the pictures to pair one column with the other. The layout is tall and narrow, so the level markers, the six pictures and the gear all sit within reach on a phone screen. No on-screen keyboard and no extra buttons appear.

Connect Puzzle tips & strategy

• The pictures carry no numbers and no colour codes, so look at what each one eats, where it lives or what it belongs with rather than hunting for matching markings.
• Level 1 has just three pictures a side. Scan both columns before you start, since each picture has one partner in the opposite column.
• Settle the pairs you are sure about first; whatever is left can then be paired by elimination.
• Keep an eye on the yellow pointing hand — it turns up beside a picture in the left column and over one in the right column, which is where the game is drawing attention.
• Use the top bar to see where you are: the filled-in marker is the current level, and a gift icon sits after marker 4.
