Candy Bubble is a bubble shooter dressed as a sweet shop, and the costume is honest about what is underneath: the rules are the standard match-three-by-launching rules, with candy-coloured bubbles instead of plain ones. You aim a launcher at the cluster above, fire, and any group of three or more of the same colour pops. The reason to pick this one over a plainer version is the readability. Candy palettes are chosen to be distinguishable, so you can scan the board quickly and plan a shot or two ahead rather than squinting at two similar blues. It is explicitly built for all ages and the difficulty curve reflects that, ramping gently so that early levels teach you the angles before later ones start demanding bank shots and deliberate structural clears. Chain reactions are where the scoring lives: a shot that pops a group and drops the section hanging below it is worth far more than one that simply removes three bubbles.
How to play Candy Bubble
- Aim the launcher at the board of candy bubbles.
- Fire so the bubble lands against two or more of the same colour.
- Groups of three or more pop; anything left unsupported falls away with them.
- Chain clears together for combo scoring.
- Clear the board to complete the level.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse to aim, click to shoot.
- Mobile / tablet: Drag to aim, release to shoot.
Candy Bubble tips & strategy
- The clear palette is the point. Take a second to scan the whole board before firing rather than shooting at the first match you see near the launcher.
- Score comes from drops, not pops. Hunt for the bubble that is holding a section onto the ceiling.
- Early levels are wide and forgiving, so use them to practise bank shots off the walls. You will need them once the boards narrow.
- If one colour is nearly cleared, finish it. Removing a colour from the launcher's rotation makes every subsequent shot more predictable.

Candy Bubble FAQ
Is Candy Bubble free?
Yes, it is free to play in your browser with no download or account needed.
Is Candy Bubble a match-3 game or a bubble shooter?
Both, in the sense that matters: it is a bubble shooter, which is the launch-and-match form of match-3. You do not swap tiles, you fire bubbles into a cluster and match three or more of a colour.
Is it suitable for young children?
Yes. It is built for all ages and the early levels are deliberately wide and forgiving, which makes it a reasonable first game in this genre.
How do I score higher?
Aim at the bubbles anchoring a cluster to the ceiling. Dropping a hanging section scores far more than popping three bubbles in the middle of the board.
