Burger Bar is a 3D build-and-serve restaurant game shown from a tilted overhead camera in a portrait layout. You move a small red-capped character with an on-screen joystick. A new game opens on a bare outdoor plot of beige paths and green lawn, with the prompt 'Build a door' at the top of the screen and a cash total of 156 beside a banknote icon in the top-left corner. The character stands on a marked square pad with banknotes floating above its head; once the door is up the prompt reads 'Build a table', the total reads 155, and there is an interior with an orange tiled floor, red-and-yellow walls, a black door and a counter unit. Later the prompt reads 'Pick up burger': a grill holds patties with buns beside it, a black tray on the floor holds finished burgers, and the character carries a burger over to a long red-and-yellow service counter, where it ends up on a dashed circle marking a spot on the counter top. Teal figures stand and walk on the right-hand side, one with a bubble above it showing a burger icon and the number 2, and green banknotes sit on the counter.
How to play Burger Bar
- Drag the on-screen joystick in the lower-right area to walk your character around.
- Follow the prompt at the top of the screen - 'Build a door', 'Build a table', 'Pick up burger' - and the magenta markers, which appear near the spot the current prompt is about.
- Walk onto a marked build pad to put up that part of the restaurant. A pad carries a banknote icon, and one of them is printed with the number 5. The cash total in the top-left falls as building goes on.
- Go to the grill, take a burger from the black tray beside it, and carry it to the long service counter. A dashed circle marks a spot on the counter, and that is where the burger ends up.
- Serve the teal figures on the right-hand side. The bubble above one of them shows a burger icon and the number 2, which reads as an order for two burgers.
Controls
- Desktop: The game is played entirely with on-screen controls: a round joystick in the lower-right area that is dragged to walk the character, and a gear icon in the top-left. No keyboard bindings appear anywhere, so treat the on-screen joystick as the way you move rather than expecting key controls.
- Mobile / tablet: Touch and drag in the lower-right area to use the on-screen joystick; the character walks in the direction the knob is pushed. The layout is portrait. A gear icon sits in the top-left corner.
Burger Bar tips & strategy
- Follow the magenta markers. They appear next to the build pad during 'Build a door' and 'Build a table', and up by the grill during 'Pick up burger', which saves hunting around the plot for the target.
- Look at what is printed on a build pad before you walk onto it. The pads carry a banknote icon, and one is printed with the number 5 beside it, which reads as the price of that piece.
- The cash total only goes down as you build - 156, then 155, then 0 - so building draws that number down and you will hit zero.
- Banknotes lying on the service counter are not part of the top-left total. It still reads 0 while a block of notes sits on the counter, so the two are counted separately.
- Burgers accumulate on the black tray by the grill: two side by side at first, then two stacks of two, so the tray builds up a supply rather than holding just one.
What makes Burger Bar fun
Low-poly 3D restaurant game seen from a tilted overhead camera in portrait, with the character moved directly by an on-screen joystick rather than by clicking menus. Step-by-step objective prompts name each task - 'Build a door', 'Build a table', 'Pick up burger' - and magenta markers appear near the spot each one refers to. Marked build pads carry a banknote icon and a number, and the cash total in the top-left falls as the plot turns from open ground with paths and lawn into an interior with tiled floors, red-and-yellow walls, a black door and a counter unit. A grill holds patties with buns on a side shelf, a black tray beside it fills with finished burgers, and those burgers are carried to a long red-and-yellow service counter with a dashed circle marking a spot on top. Teal figures gather on the right, one with a bubble showing a burger icon and the number 2, and green banknotes appear on the counter. A gear icon sits in the top-left. In the last frame teal customers are lined up at the counter, one with a bubble showing a burger icon and the number 2, and stacks of cash sit at the end of the counter.
Burger Bar FAQ
Is Burger Bar free to play?
Yes. We host Burger Bar free to play in your browser on JoyForGame, with no download, install or payment needed to start.
What kind of game is Burger Bar?
It is a 3D build-and-serve restaurant game viewed from a tilted overhead camera. You walk a character around with an on-screen joystick, follow prompts such as 'Build a door' and 'Build a table' onto marked build pads that cost money, and then carry burgers from a tray beside the grill over to a long service counter where teal customers are waiting.
How do you move around in Burger Bar?
With the on-screen joystick in the lower-right of the screen. You drag the knob and the character walks in that direction. There are no keyboard controls.
What does the number in the bubble above a customer mean?
It reads as the size of that customer's order. The bubble shows a burger icon next to a number, so a bubble reading 2 means two burgers for that customer.
Why does my money go down while I am playing?
Building costs money. The pads you build on carry a banknote icon, one of them printed with the number 5, and the counter in the top-left corner falls as you build, going from 156 to 155 and on down to 0.
