Squad Tower is a browser-based math puzzle game where you fight your way up a tower by comparing numbers. Your character carries a numerical strength value, and every enemy cell also shows a number: attack an enemy with a lower value than yours and you win, absorbing their value into your own; attack one with an equal or higher value and you're defeated and must restart the level. The core loop is about sequencing — clearing weaker enemies first to build up enough strength to take on tougher ones later, while collecting keys, coins, and treasure chests along the way.
How to play Squad Tower
- Look at the numeric value on your character and on each enemy cell around you.
- Click and drag (or tap and drag on touch devices) your hero onto an adjacent enemy cell with a lower value to attack it.
- Defeating an enemy adds their value to your strength, making you stronger for the next fight.
- Collect keys to unlock locked cells, grab 2X coins to double your current value, and open treasure chests for bonus coins.
- Avoid spike gates — they behave like enemies but only damage you, without adding to your strength.
- Clear all enemies on the level to advance to the next tower; if you attack a higher-value enemy you lose and must restart the level.
Controls
- Desktop: Left-click your character and drag it onto the enemy cell you want to attack.
- Mobile / tablet: Tap and hold your character, then drag it onto the enemy cell you want to attack (touch controls).
Squad Tower tips & strategy
- Always clear the lowest-value enemies adjacent to you first to build strength safely before facing bigger numbers.
- Save 2X coins for when your value is already high — doubling a small number wastes the bonus.
- Plan your route across the tower rather than attacking randomly, since a wrong-order attack ends the level instantly.
- Grab keys before heading toward locked cells so you don't waste moves backtracking.
- Treat spike gates as obstacles to route around, not targets — they never add to your strength.
What makes Squad Tower fun
The appeal is in the simple-but-tense risk math: every move is a snap decision about whether a number is safe to attack, and one miscalculation sends you back to the start of the level. The game spans roughly 40 towers of rising difficulty, and coins earned from chests can be spent on a set of unlockable character skins, giving it replay value for quick puzzle sessions.
