Run Gun Robots is a side-scrolling run-and-gun platformer built in Construct 3. Your character advances automatically across rooftops and industrial platforms while you handle jumping, sliding, and shooting to take down waves of attacking robots and dodge environmental hazards. Defeated robots drop currency that you spend on power-ups and weapon upgrades, so the core loop is survive a stretch, cash in kills, upgrade, and push further into tougher waves.
How to play Run Gun Robots
- Start the level and let your character auto-run forward across the rooftops.
- Press Jump (W or Up Arrow) to clear gaps and leap between buildings.
- Press Shoot (Spacebar) to fire at robots as they appear in your path.
- Press Down (S or Down Arrow) to slide or drop through a platform when you need to duck a hazard instead of jumping it.
- Time jumps and shots together to avoid traps and hazards while still clearing enemies.
- Collect the currency dropped by destroyed robots as you go.
- Spend earned currency on power-ups and upgrades to survive later, harder stretches.
Controls
- Desktop: Jump: W or Up Arrow. Shoot: Spacebar. Slide/drop through platforms: S or Down Arrow. The game also supports gamepad.
- Mobile / tablet: Tap the on-screen buttons to jump and shoot (touch controls, landscape orientation).
Run Gun Robots tips & strategy
- Keep firing steadily rather than waiting, since your character keeps moving forward and delayed shots often mean a robot gets too close before you clear it.
- Jump early for gaps and obstacles; because movement is automatic, late reactions are the main cause of falls and hits.
- Prioritize power-ups that help you deal with enemies faster, since new hazards and tougher robots appear as you progress.
- Play in landscape or fullscreen on mobile, since the touch controls and hazard timing are easier to read with more screen width.
- Bank currency toward one meaningful upgrade rather than spreading it thin, since early power-ups matter most for surviving the next stretch.
What makes Run Gun Robots fun
The appeal is the fast, no-downtime combination of auto-running, jumping, sliding, and shooting, constantly making small split-second calls about when to leap, duck, or fire, with a simple earn-and-upgrade loop that gives each robot kill a purpose beyond just clearing the screen.
