Merge Battle Tactics is a 3D merge-battler where you summon monsters onto a grid and combine matching ones to create stronger creatures. You spend coins to summon units, drag identical monsters together to merge and upgrade them, then watch your army automatically fight the opposing side once the battle starts. The core loop is build-then-watch: assemble and position your force during a prep phase, and the outcome plays out through automatic combat based on unit strength and placement.
How to play Merge Battle Tactics
- Click a monster icon, then click an empty spot on the center grid to summon it (costs coins shown on the right side of the screen).
- Drag one monster on top of an identical one to merge them into a single, more powerful unit.
- Keep summoning and merging to build up your army before the battle starts.
- Once the battle begins, your monsters auto-attack and advance toward the enemy - watch health bars above their heads to track the fight.
- Defeat all opposing monsters to win the round; losing all of your own means you have to retry.
- Earn more coins from wins to summon additional monsters and expand your ranks for the next battle.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse only - left-click to select and place monsters, click-and-drag to merge matching units.
- Mobile / tablet: Touch controls - tap to select and place monsters, tap-and-drag to merge matching units.
Merge Battle Tactics tips & strategy
- Prioritize merging over summoning new low-tier monsters - a single upgraded creature usually outperforms several weak ones.
- Watch your coin count before summoning; running out mid-battle prep leaves gaps in your formation.
- Balance quantity and power: a few merged high-tier monsters can be countered by a wide spread of enemy units.
- Summon matching monster types deliberately so you always have merge targets available instead of random leftovers.
- Retry losing rounds with a different mix of merged vs. spread-out units rather than repeating the same formation.
What makes Merge Battle Tactics fun
The appeal is the tactile merge-and-build loop combined with hands-off automatic combat - you make the strategic calls beforehand (which monsters to merge, where to place them), then watch the payoff play out, which keeps rounds fast and replayable.
