About Dodge the Bull

Dodge the Bull is a free browser-based casual skill game that puts you in the boots of a tiny clown standing in the middle of a bullring. A bull charges down the arena, and your only job is to read its telegraphed attack and step out of the way at the very last instant. Time it well and the bull slams into the fence, scoring you points; steer the crash into the golden door or a stack of barrels and you earn a bonus on top. The action carries you through six themed plazas — Sevilla, Madrid, Mexico D.F., Granada, Pamplona, and a closing Gran Final — with each stage demanding a longer streak of clean dodges as more bulls join the charge. Like most games in the reflex/timing genre, Dodge the Bull is easy to pick up in seconds but punishing to master, rewarding players who can stay calm and precise as the pace ramps up.

How to play Dodge the Bull

1. Step into the ring as the tiny clown and get ready — a bull is about to charge.
2. Watch the bull's red target zone; it telegraphs the lane the bull is about to run through.
3. Step out of that line the instant you see the white flash cue — timing is everything.
4. Aim your dodge so the bull crashes into the golden door or barrels for bonus points instead of the plain fence.
5. String together clean dodges to advance through the six plazas: Sevilla, Madrid, Mexico D.F., Granada, Pamplona, and the Gran Final.
6. Keep surviving as bull counts increase each stage to push your score as high as possible.

Controls

• Desktop: Arrow keys step your clown out of the bull's charging lane. Press P to pause and resume, and M to mute or unmute the sound.
• Mobile / tablet: Tap anywhere inside the ring and your clown steps toward that spot. Tap Play or Retry to start a new run.

Dodge the Bull tips & strategy

• Focus on the bull's red target indicator rather than the bull's body — it shows you where the charge is headed before the animal actually moves.
• Don't jump the gun: dodging before the white flash can put you right back in the bull's path when it actually charges.
• Go for style points — a dodge timed toward the golden door or a barrel scores more than just clearing the bull into the plain fence.
• Later plazas throw more bulls at you and demand longer dodge streaks, so build a steady read-and-react rhythm early rather than reacting to each charge individually.
• On mobile, tap decisively and early enough to clear the lane — since your clown walks to the tapped spot rather than teleporting, a late or hesitant tap can still get clipped.
• Use the pause key (P) on desktop if you need a beat to reset your focus during a tricky run.
