Blumgi Soccer is a physics-based sports game from French indie studio Blumgi, the team behind Blumgi Slime, Blumgi Rocket and Blumgi Ball. Instead of running a full team, you control a single one-touch shot: hold to set your angle and power, then release to launch the ball toward the net. What sounds simple quickly becomes a puzzle. Each of the game's roughly 100 short levels hides the goal behind walls, ramps, bouncing balloons, swooping seagulls, giant balls and moving defenders, and gives you only a handful of shots to score. Success depends on reading ricochets, timing moving hazards and using the environment to bank the ball home. Levels are quick, restarts are instant, and difficulty climbs steadily across themed worlds. It plays free in the browser on desktop and mobile, with a paid Steam edition also available.
How to play Blumgi Soccer
- Press and hold (mouse or touch) to begin aiming your shot.
- Drag to set the launch angle and power — a longer pull generally means a stronger kick.
- Release to fire the ball; get it into the goal to clear the level.
- You only get a limited number of balls per level, so make each shot count.
- Use walls, ramps and bounces to reach goals you can't hit head-on.
- If you run out of shots, restart instantly and adjust your aim.
Controls
- Desktop: Click and hold to aim and set power, then release to shoot the ball into the goal. Use the on-screen restart to retry a level.
- Mobile / tablet: Tap and hold to aim, drag to set angle and power, then lift your finger to shoot. Tap restart to retry.
Blumgi Soccer tips & strategy
- Watch your pull distance — most misses come from too much power sending the ball over the goal.
- Look for bounce paths: banking the ball off walls, ramps and ceilings often reaches goals that are blocked head-on.
- Time moving hazards like seagulls and swinging balls; wait a beat so they clear your shot lane before releasing.
- Conserve balls — plan the full trajectory before your first shot instead of firing just to test it.
- Aim high or low to curve around defenders when a straight shot is walled off.
- Because restarts are instant, treat a failed attempt as physics feedback and immediately retry with a small angle tweak.
What makes Blumgi Soccer fun
One-touch aim-and-shoot controls, a lively physics engine, and around 100 bite-sized levels spread across themed worlds. Escalating obstacles — seagulls, giant balls, moving defenders, ramps and balloons — turn each shot into a mini physics puzzle. Instant restarts keep the pace fast, and the game runs free in the browser on both desktop and mobile. A single-player experience, with a Steam edition that adds achievements and cloud saves.
