About Save kitten

Save kitten is a free browser arcade game about catching falling kittens on a trampoline. You move along the base of a vibrant tower, bouncing kittens to safety against the clock while dodging the bombs mixed in among them, and collecting boosters and coins that make the job easier. Your hero is customisable and a competitive leaderboard waits at the end of each run, which is what gives the game its replay value. The kittens need rescuing, but you never look after one — this is a reflex game, and the cats are the objects you are catching rather than animals in your care. It appears on our cat games hub with an arcade tag for that reason. The difficulty curve is a drop-rate curve: kittens and bombs fall faster and closer together as the timer runs down, so the run always ends because you ran out of reaction time rather than because you made one obvious mistake. It is a landscape game, free in the browser, with no download, no account and no app store needed.

• A bomb costs more than a kitten gains, so prioritise dodging when both fall together.
• Grab boosters when they are on your line; crossing the screen for one usually loses a kitten.
• Learn the drop patterns; they repeat and a second run should always beat the first.
