About Penalty Shooters

Penalty Shooters is a mouse-controlled soccer penalty-kick game in which two players face off in a knockout shootout, alternating between the roles of striker and goalkeeper after every kick. As striker you aim and power your shot before the goalkeeper dives; as goalkeeper you try to read and block the opponent's kick. Rounds continue until one side is eliminated, with the winner advancing toward the tournament cup.

How to play Penalty Shooters

1. Choose your team and player at the start of the game.
2. When taking a penalty, watch the target reticle move back and forth across the goal.
3. Click to stop the reticle and set your shot's horizontal placement.
4. Hold the mouse button down and release to set the power/height of the kick and take the shot.
5. When defending, click and hold to move your goalkeeper toward the incoming shot, then release to dive and attempt the save.
6. Win shootout rounds to eliminate opponents and progress toward the cup.

Controls

• Desktop: Mouse only: click to stop the aiming reticle when shooting; hold and release the left mouse button to set shot power and dive as goalkeeper. No keyboard needed.
• Mobile / tablet: Tap and hold/release on the touchscreen in place of mouse clicks, mirroring the desktop controls.

Penalty Shooters tips & strategy

• Watch the reticle speed carefully before clicking - rushing the stop often sends the shot straight at the keeper.
• Vary where you aim shot to shot; predictable placement makes you easy to save against.
• As goalkeeper, react to the striker's aiming pattern rather than guessing randomly - many opponents favor a side.
• Practice controlling shot height as well as direction; low corner shots are harder for keepers to reach.
• Stay calm in sudden-death rounds - a rushed click under pressure is the most common way to miss.

The fast one-on-one shootout format and the switch between attacking and defending roles keep every round tense, since you must both out-aim your opponent as striker and out-guess them as keeper.
