ChasingHunters is a 3D Old West arcade shooter where you play a bounty hunter tracking down wanted outlaws. Each level drops you into a standoff-style scene where enemies won't open fire until you do, giving you a brief window to line up the first shot. You aim and shoot your way through waves of bandits, using shootable dynamite crates for area damage as the enemies get tougher and hit harder round after round.
How to play ChasingHunters
- Load into a level and scan the scene for hidden or approaching outlaws.
- Click and hold the left mouse button (or touch and hold on mobile) to raise your gun sights.
- Move the crosshair over a target while still holding down.
- Release to fire - enemies won't shoot until you fire first, so use that opening.
- Shoot dynamite crates near clustered enemies for splash damage instead of picking them off one by one.
- Watch the health bar and the on-screen target checklist as you clear each wave, and keep an eye on your own health as enemies grow tougher.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse only: hold the left mouse button to aim, move to adjust the crosshair, release to fire. With dual pistols equipped, holding the button fires repeated (if less accurate) shots.
- Mobile / tablet: Touch controls: press and hold on screen to aim, drag to move the crosshair, release to fire - same one-input scheme as desktop.
ChasingHunters tips & strategy
- Let the enemy-fires-second rule work for you - take the first shot as soon as a target is visible instead of waiting.
- Target dynamite crates when multiple enemies are bunched near one; the blast clears a group faster than individual shots.
- Keep the crosshair moving in short, deliberate adjustments rather than large sweeps - precision matters more than speed here.
- Check the target checklist at the top of the screen so you know which outlaws are still active before enemies get tougher in later rounds.
- With dual pistols equipped, lean on the faster fire rate against clustered enemies, but expect lower accuracy per shot.
What makes ChasingHunters fun
The single-input, hold-aim-release-fire control scheme makes ChasingHunters easy to pick up on both mouse and touch, while the escalating enemy toughness and shootable explosive crates give each Old West standoff a bit of tactical choice on top of pure reflexes.
