About Basket Champs

Basket Champs is a mouse/touch basketball shooting game where you pick a national team and compete through a multi-round tournament for world basketball glory. Each match is a 5-shot showdown against a rival team, and whoever sinks more baskets wins and advances. As you progress, the hoop stops sitting still and starts drifting up and down, then forward and back, so later rounds demand sharper timing than the first.

How to play Basket Champs

1. Pick your national team from the tournament roster to start your run.
2. Aim your shot by moving the mouse (or your finger on touch devices) to line up with the moving or stationary hoop.
3. Shoot by pressing the left mouse button or tapping the screen, timing the release for the right power and arc.
4. Each match consists of 5 shots per side; whoever scores more baskets wins the match.
5. Win to advance to the next round, where the hoop starts moving vertically, then horizontally, adding difficulty.
6. Keep winning rounds to work through the group stage and climb toward the championship.

Controls

• Desktop: Move the mouse to aim and click the left mouse button to shoot (some versions also support arrow keys to aim and spacebar to shoot).
• Mobile / tablet: Tap and hold to aim, then release to shoot the ball toward the hoop.

Basket Champs tips & strategy

• Watch the hoop's movement pattern for a beat before shooting once it starts drifting vertically or horizontally in later rounds.
• Aim to release your shot at a consistent, moderate power rather than rushing — accuracy matters more than speed since you only get 5 shots per match.
• Adjust your aim point ahead of a moving hoop rather than where it currently sits, since the ball takes a moment to arrive.
• Since each match is decided by just 5 shots, a single miss can cost the game, so treat every shot with the same focus, not just the last one.
• Replay lost matches to learn the timing pattern of the hoop's movement before trying that round again.

Basket Champs turns a simple aim-and-shoot mechanic into an escalating challenge by having the hoop itself become part of the obstacle, moving vertically and then horizontally as the tournament progresses.
