About Super Pizza Quest

Super Pizza Quest is a free browser platformer with a simple and very silly premise: a greedy dragon has stolen your pizza, and you are going to get it back. What follows is a conventional, well-built platform adventure — whimsical worlds to traverse, quirky foes to outwit, coins to collect, hazards to dodge and cheesy power-ups to pick up along the way. It is the most traditional platformer on our pizza hub and the one that feels least like a browser game and most like a small console game, with charming visuals and controls simple enough that anyone can pick it up. No cooking happens anywhere in it; the pizza is the goal rather than the activity, which is why we group it with the action games rather than the kitchen ones. It runs landscape in the browser, costs nothing, and needs no download, account or app store.

How to play Super Pizza Quest

1. Move and jump through each level, heading for the exit.
2. Collect coins as you go — they are the game's progression currency.
3. Dodge the hazards and outwit the enemies placed in your path.
4. Grab cheesy power-ups when you find them; they make difficult sections manageable.
5. Work through the worlds to reach the dragon and reclaim your pizza.

Controls

• Desktop: Keyboard — arrow keys or WASD to move, up or space to jump.
• Mobile / tablet: On-screen touch controls. The game is landscape, so turn your phone sideways.
