About Goober World

Goober World is a 2D precision platformer from Winterpixel Games, the studio behind Goober Dash. You control a squishy little Goober that runs, jumps, and — most importantly — dashes its way through 36 hand-built obstacle courses. Each stage is a compact gauntlet of spikes, sharp floors, spinning gears, whirling saws, springs, and launchpads, and a single touch sends you back to the start. The dash is the heart of the game: a held burst that clears wide gaps, punches through tight hazard windows, and extends jumps off springs. Coins scattered through the levels unlock and customize a roster of cute Goober characters, and every stage hides a secret collectible for players chasing 100% completion. How to play Goober World

1. Guide your Goober left and right and jump to travel each stage from the start to the finish flag.
2. Hold the dash button to burst forward — it clears wide gaps, blasts through narrow hazard windows, and extends jumps.
3. Avoid every spike, sharp floor, spinning gear, and saw blade; one hit instantly restarts the level.
4. Time moving platforms, springs, and launchpads to reach higher ledges and chain your momentum.
5. Collect coins to unlock and customize new Goober skins, and grab the hidden secret in a level for 100% credit.
6. Work through all 36 levels in order, then chase faster times or fewer-dash clears.

Controls

• Desktop: Move: A/D or Left/Right arrows. Jump: W, Z, or Up arrow. Dash: hold X or Spacebar.
• Mobile / tablet: On-screen touch buttons: left/right pads to move, a jump button, and a dash button (playable on phones and tablets).

Goober World tips & strategy

• Master the dash for distance and recovery — held X/Spacebar is the only way to clear the widest spike gaps and to squeeze through fast-closing hazard windows.
• You don't always need to dash. Many levels can be cleared dash-light, and on tight spike runs a precise jump is safer than dashing blindly into a saw — this is exactly what the Min Dash% challenge rewards.
• Spinning gears and saws move on fixed loops. Pause and read the pattern, then move when the blade rotates away instead of rushing in.
• Dash off springs and launchpads at the apex of your jump to stretch a single leap across long gaps.
• Restarts are instant and deaths are cheap — treat a fresh level as recon, memorize the hazard timing, then run it clean.
• Hunting 100%? The hidden secret usually sits in an off-route alcove that requires a deliberate dash detour away from the fastest path to the flag.
