About Adventure Bot

Adventure Bot is a retro-style 2D pixel-art platformer in which you guide a small robot named Bot through a series of obstacle- and enemy-filled levels. The core loop is classic run-and-jump platforming: traverse each stage's terrain, defeat mechanized enemies along the way, and collect nuts scattered through the levels to use as upgrade currency. It plays in the browser for free via GamePix and is also available as a separate mobile app on Google Play.

How to play Adventure Bot

1. Move Bot left and right across each level using the keyboard.
2. Time your jumps to clear gaps, pits, and platforming obstacles.
3. Attack or jump on mechanized enemies to defeat them as they block your path.
4. Collect the nuts scattered through each level as you go.
5. Spend collected nuts on upgrades to make Bot stronger for later, harder stages.
6. Keep progressing through the evolving terrain until you clear the level.

Controls

• Desktop: Arrow keys to move and jump, with an action key/button to attack enemies (a gamepad is also supported on GamePix).
• Mobile / tablet: On-screen touch controls (virtual buttons) for movement, jumping, and attacking, standard for GamePix's mobile-friendly embed.

Adventure Bot tips & strategy

• Don't rush past levels - nuts are your only upgrade currency, so backtrack for ones you missed if a stage allows it.
• Learn each enemy's attack pattern before engaging; mistimed jumps into enemies cost you health.
• Prioritize upgrades that help with survivability early on, since later terrain gets more hazardous.
• Use precise, short jumps on narrow platforms rather than holding the jump input, to avoid overshooting gaps.
