4 Colors Multiplayer is an HTML5 card game built by Code This Lab that plays like a classic shedding-type card game in the Uno family, with four colors and numbered/action cards. On your turn you play a card matching the top discard pile card by color or number, or draw one if you can't, while special action cards (Draw Two, Skip, Reverse, Wild, Wild Draw Four) let you disrupt opponents. You can play against AI opponents or join real players online, and the first to empty their hand wins the round.
How to play 4 Colors Multiplayer
- Look at the top card of the discard pile and play a card from your hand that matches its color or number.
- If you have no matching card, draw one from the deck; play it if it becomes valid, otherwise your turn passes.
- Use action cards strategically: Draw Two and Wild Draw Four force opponents to pick up cards and lose their turn, Skip blocks the next player, and Reverse flips play direction.
- When you play a Wild or Wild Draw Four, choose the new active color for the next player.
- When you're down to your last card, tap the call-out button immediately, or you'll be hit with 2 penalty cards on your next turn.
- Keep playing rounds until you clear your entire hand before your opponents to win.
Controls
- Desktop: Mouse only - click a card in your hand to play it, click the deck to draw, and click a color swatch to choose color after a Wild card.
- Mobile / tablet: Fully touch-based - tap a card to play it, tap the deck to draw, and tap a color to select it after a Wild card.
4 Colors Multiplayer tips & strategy
- Hold onto Wild and Wild Draw Four cards for moments when you're stuck without a matching color - they're your safety valve.
- Watch opponents' hand sizes; when someone drops to 1-2 cards, prioritize playing Skip or Draw Two cards on them.
- Don't forget to call out at 1 card - missing the callout costs you 2 free penalty cards.
- Change the active color to whichever color you hold the most of when you play a Wild, so your next turns stay easy.
- Play number-matching cards before color-matching ones when you have a choice, to keep more color flexibility in hand for later.
What makes 4 Colors Multiplayer fun
The game's real draw is fast multiplayer matches against live opponents worldwide (not just AI), combined with the familiar shedding-card chaos of Draw Two/Draw Four stacking and Reverse plays that can flip a losing hand around in one turn.
