About Idle Dino

Idle Dino is an idle pet-battler played in a portrait browser window -- not the egg-tapping incremental the name suggests. A cavewoman and whichever dinosaur you have deployed fight waves of other dinosaurs on a flat prehistoric field, automatically, with damage numbers popping over whatever is being hit. The field is framed by a meat counter and a gem counter, an era label (Triassic on the build hosted here) with a clone count beside it, a reward chest marked "Need 7 Level", and a countdown running just under twenty hours. A red Challeng Boss banner sits at the foot of the field. The depth is in the Deploy panel: it lists your pets across rarity tabs running ALL, SSS, SS, S, A, B and C, caps the collection at 200, and lets each pet be set as a mount or an assist, bred, or upgraded with stars that the panel says add support output. Below the field is a grid of food slots, and the game's own tip reads that dragging food onto a pet raises its level. There is no clicking-the-dinosaur-for-currency loop anywhere in it.

How to play Idle Dino

1. Let the field fight itself. Combat is automatic -- your character and the dinosaur you have deployed attack on their own, and damage numbers appear over the targets.
2. Open the Deploy panel to manage your pets. Each can be set as your mount or as an assist, and the tabs sort the collection by rarity from SSS down to C.
3. Feed pets to level them. The in-game tip reads that dragging food onto a pet improves its level; the food sits in the grid of slots under the field.
4. Breed pets to produce better ones -- rarity, not level, is what separates a C pet from an SSS one, and the collection caps at 200.
5. Spend meat and gems on summons and upgrades, and watch the reward chest beside the era label, which states the level it unlocks at.
6. Press Challeng Boss when your deployed line-up is strong enough, keeping an eye on the era countdown running just under twenty hours.

Controls

• Desktop: Mouse -- click to open the Deploy panel and select pets, and drag food from the slot grid onto a pet to level it. No keyboard input is used.
• Mobile / tablet: Touch -- tap to open panels and choose pets, and drag food onto a pet with your finger. No gestures beyond tap and drag.

Idle Dino tips & strategy

• Breed before you summon. Rarity sets a pet's ceiling, so food spent levelling a low tier is food you cannot spend on a good one.
• Run one pet as a mount and fill the rest of the slots with assists -- the Deploy panel states that star upgrades raise support output, which is what assists contribute.
• The era countdown is the real clock. Anything that does not land before it runs out does not count toward the boss.
• Do not hoard food. Levels compound across every fight that follows, so the same food is worth more spent early than saved.
• Mind the 200-pet cap. Breeding filler eventually costs you room for something you would rather keep.
• Check the chest's stated requirement before chasing it -- on the build hosted here it reads "Need 7 Level", so it is a milestone rather than something to grind for directly.
