About Haunted Dorm

Haunted Dorm is a horror-flavored tower defense game from Chinese studio Mihuan, where you play a student trapped overnight in a haunted dormitory. Each round you claim a room, climb into bed, and earn gold while you sleep. A relentless Dream Hunter stalks the halls, hammering at your door to reach you, so you spend the night turning a bare room into a fortress. Tap empty floor tiles to build: upgrade your bed for income, reinforce the door and walls, then add turrets, mines, freezers, and high-tech gadgets powered by a second currency, energy. Difficulty climbs level by level as the ghost gains skills and random buffs and converts fallen players into helpers, giving matches a roguelite feel. You win by draining the hunter's health until it flees or dies; if it breaks through and catches you, the night is lost. It began as a 2022 mobile hit and now plays in browsers.

How to play Haunted Dorm

1. Pick a dorm room and go to bed; you passively earn gold every second while you sleep.
2. Tap or click empty floor tiles to open the build menu and place defenses.
3. Upgrade your bed for more income and reinforce your door and walls to hold the Dream Hunter back.
4. Add turrets, mines, freezers, and traps to damage and slow the ghost as it attacks your door.
5. Manage two currencies: gold funds most buildings, while energy unlocks higher-tier tech and upgrades.
6. Survive the night by draining the Dream Hunter's health until it flees or dies; if it breaks your door and reaches you, you lose.

Controls

• Desktop: Mouse: click an empty floor tile to open the build menu, then click to place and upgrade structures (bed, door, walls, turrets, traps). Spend gold and energy from the on-screen HUD.
• Mobile / tablet: Touch: tap empty floor tiles to build, tap existing structures to upgrade them, and tap menu buttons to spend gold and energy. Simple one-handed play.

Haunted Dorm tips & strategy

• Open with economy: upgrade your bed two or three times before buying turrets, since each bed upgrade roughly doubles your gold per second.
• Protect the door above all else. Once it is destroyed it cannot be rebuilt, and the ghost reaches you, so keep it upgraded ahead of the hunter's damage.
• Pick smart rooms: a room with a grave adds +1 gold per second, and long hallways buy extra setup time before the ghost arrives.
• Build an energy generator (like a game console) early so you can afford high-tier tech such as energy shields and spell catapults.
• Layer crowd control: freezers and lightning nets slow or pin the Dream Hunter while your turrets and mines wear it down.
• Stay balanced. A spread of damage, defense, and income holds up longer than dumping everything into one turret line.
