Monkey Mart Walkthrough & Level Guide

How to beat Monkey Mart — Approximately 6 marts (progression stages), unlocked sequentially · Updated

▶ Play Monkey Mart

Overview

Monkey Mart has no discrete numbered levels with fixed solutions. Instead, progress is measured by unlocking product aisles, upgrades, and helper monkeys, then advancing through a series of themed marts (commonly six). Each new mart opens only after you fully upgrade your current store. This walkthrough covers general strategy for each phase of that progression rather than step-by-step level answers, because the game rewards smart economic ordering, not memorized moves.

How Monkey Mart levels work

Progressively unlocked themed stores ('marts') rather than discrete numbered puzzle levels; each mart is gated behind fully upgrading the previous one (Approximately 6 marts (progression stages), unlocked sequentially).

Stage-by-stage strategy

Early game: bootstrap your economy (Mart 1)

You begin doing everything yourself: harvesting bananas, stocking the shelf, and running the register. The single most important early decision is unlocking the corn aisle as soon as you can afford it, since corn sells for far more per unit than bananas and rapidly grows your coin income. Keep the shelf stocked at all times, because empty shelves mean customers leave without buying. Reinvest every coin into the next available aisle and a first Stack upgrade so each trip carries more goods.

Automation: hire helpers in the right order

Once you have steady income, your goal is to stop doing manual work. Hire a cashier first so the register runs without you, then a harvester to auto-collect crops, then a stocker to keep shelves filled. With those three roles automated, your own monkey becomes a floating troubleshooter who plugs whatever gap appears. Balance helper hires against product unlocks: a new aisle adds revenue, but a helper protects the revenue you already have. Alternate between the two.

Production chains and livestock

Mid-game introduces animals and processing stations that add depth and higher margins. Animals (for eggs and milk) must be fed corn before they produce, so budget corn for both selling and feeding, and assign a farmer to keep the pens fed. Processing stations turn raw goods into premium products, corn into popcorn, cocoa into chocolate, beans into coffee, which sell for much more than the ingredient. Staff these stations with chef monkeys so the higher-value goods flow continuously without your attention.

Advancing marts and end-game scaling

A new mart only unlocks after you complete every upgrade in your current one, so treat 100 percent completion of a store as the objective, not just profit. Push Stamina, Stack, and Speed toward their caps to keep helpers efficient and reduce wasted walking. Unlock products strictly in menu order so no revenue stream is skipped. Each mart is larger and more product-dense than the last, so enter each new store with a full helper roster before trying to run more complex aisles.

Tips to beat Monkey Mart faster

  • Unlock the corn aisle early: corn sells for far more per unit than bananas, so it accelerates your income before you spend on anything else.
  • Hire a cashier first. Automating the register frees your monkey to keep shelves stocked, which is where sales are actually lost.
  • Unlock products in the order they appear in the upgrade menu and skip nothing. Each new aisle is a compounding revenue stream.
  • Keep animals fed with corn. They only produce eggs and milk after eating, so a starved pen quietly kills that income.
  • Prioritize the Stack upgrade so each trip carries more goods, then Speed to cut walking time between stations.
  • Add chefs to run processing stations. Turning corn into popcorn or cocoa into chocolate sells for much more than the raw ingredient.

Monkey Mart walkthrough FAQ

What should I unlock first in Monkey Mart?

Unlock the corn aisle before spending on much else. Corn sells for roughly three times a banana per unit, so it accelerates your income and lets you afford your first helper monkey much sooner, snowballing the rest of the game.

How do I unlock the next mart?

You cannot jump ahead. A new mart opens only after you have purchased every available upgrade and aisle in your current store, so aim for full completion rather than just accumulating coins.

Why aren't my animals producing eggs or milk?

Animals must eat corn before they produce. If a pen is idle, it is out of feed, so keep corn flowing to the animals (ideally by assigning a farmer) alongside the corn you sell to customers.
